The Air Element

If you are an Air Element, you are knowledgeable, complex, intellectual and open-minded. Your purpose in life is to discover new answers to the problems that society struggles with and to master your area of expertise.

You know a little bit about everything, so conversations with you are always interesting. You particularly enjoy speaking with other people who are as knowledgeable as you are and challenging yourself and others to think in exciting new ways. On your very deepest level, you are driven by the love of knowledge for knowledge’s sake.

While the other Elements are task-oriented, action-oriented and people-oriented, Air Elements are thought-oriented. 

Air Elements are masterful problem solvers and deep-thinking intellectuals. People frequently come to them for answers to complex questions, because they excel at considering all possible solutions to a problem before they give their answer. For this reason, they should not be rushed into providing their opinion. They prefer to make sure that it is based in fact and need the opportunity to look at a situation from many angles before they weigh in. They need time alone to organize and think through all of the ideas and possibilities they are constantly considering. 

Air Elements value knowledge. They like to immerse themselves in a particular topic and really master it. This quality is what makes them the “go-to” person for their area of expertise. If you attempt to take credit for an Air Element’s ideas, they will be deeply offended.
